CashClub itself, is not just an app. CashClub allows merchants exclusive exposure to thousands of Planet Fitness members. We do use an app to make our communication from merchants to the Planet Fitness members effective and easy. Also, as far as we know, this is the only app that allows merchants to communicate directly with members, using a real time tool.
You will receive exposure to thousands of motivated users that will recognize you as the “best merchant” in your category. The Return on Investment will be clearly seen in a short amount of time. The monthly fee can easily be justified for the exposure alone. Each month you will attract new customers, drive customers to your store during slow times, and build loyalty with your customers. The small amount of money spent on giving the discounts is easily regained with the increase in volume of business.
Google and Facebook are expensive, and it’s difficult to track their effectiveness. Both of these charge you for the performance of the ads. CashClub gives you massive exposure to thousands of local customers, and the ability to post deals/discounts as often as you want, for one flat rate per month.
Groupon and Living Social target a large area with a large discount. The consumers drive a great distance to redeem the large discount (50% for example) and never return for normal prices services and products. CashClub is a localized club that offers ongoing smaller discounts to members which creates ongoing loyalty. We do not allow just anyone to participate as a merchant. Our exclusivity allows only one merchant per category to be showcased on our merchant network.
The Planet Fitness health club model is aimed at those consumers that do not normally exercise. In other words, these are not your typical fitness club members. There are no heavy weights, no body builders, no classes, and it prides itself on a non-intimidating environment. They serve the members pizza and bagels one day per month, and often have tootsie rolls available as a snack. These members are just average normal consumers.
